Claremont High Competition

Feb 7, 5:30 in the morning the team gathers outside Mrs. Julians room. I was sick and so was other people. it was a really bad way to start the day off. finally we get in the bus heading towards claremont high school. i knock out for about 10 minutes and next thing i know we're at claremont high school where we will be competing against other teams. I was really nervous for small all male because we just finished the set the day before (Feb 6). but it turned out really well. we got lots of good comments from people that watched and from other teams. and that made me feel a little better. several minutes after that heart pounding performance, i start feeling really sick again. I asked Vinh (captain) if i can stay in the locker room and not practice with large all male because i really couldn't take it. he was nice enough to let me stay. soon after people started coming in and asking me whats wrong and i tell them. So they take care of me and stuff like that. they covered me in suzannes blanket which kept me warm while i was knocked out. i woke up and i see Elmer, JR, Ryan, and Jon Avina in the room, they were also sick like i was. but that didnt stop us from getting thru the day! around 4 ish in the afternoon, its time to perform coed dance. it was really tough to do that stunts when your sick. but i managed not to drop my partner which im thankfull of. i think we placed second for coed dance. randalls injury got even worst after performing coed dance, he was crying and i felt really bad for him. i hope he's feelings better now. the whole team decided not to let him perform anymore for that day since we didnt want his injury to get worst. everyone was crying cause it was really emotional. but anyways. coed hiphop didnt do that great. we didnt place. but after that performance i was seriously dead. i had about an hour to rest and then we had to go get ready for large all male. at first i was really weak and i could barely stand up. but once i got to the dance floor with my team i knew everything was gonna be alright as long as we dance our hearts out for the audience, the judges, randall, matt, and the sick people that still did the dancing. so what we lost to glendale again? just like kopo said "as long as you know you did your best out there, you know you've won the battle!" i love west covina all male, all homo. :] thats a day i will never forget.
oh and BTW good job to the girls. 1st place to almost everythang!! goodjob :]
and thanks to the people that took care of the people that was sick :]
